Winners of the 2012 Cite awards will be notified via email no later than March 1, 2012 and will receive the forms that are required for the award of the scholarship. Winners will be recognized during an awards ceremony held as part of the Cite conference. The required forms signed by the Winner and the Winner’s Institution must be received by March 15, 2012 in order for the Scholarship to be announced at the awards ceremony.

Can there be more than one nominee and winner at any institution?

Nominators are welcome to nominate an unlimited but reasonable number of qualified educators and administrators for an award.  There is no specified limit because Pearson recognizes that institutions vary with regard to size and the number of eligible nominees.  Each nominee will be reviewed as an individual, regardless of institutional affiliation and as such, more than one individual from an institution may be recognized with an award.

Scholarship Donations

The Pearson scholarship donation to each institution is subject to and contingent upon the approval of the institution but no substitutions will be allowed if the institution declines the donation for the purpose designated by the winner and Pearson.

Scholarship donations will be processed in approximately six to eight weeks upon receiving written direction from award recipients. Each winner will be required to complete a form to be provided by Pearson, designating the selected scholarship fund at the institution, giving Pearson approval to announce their recognition and allowing Pearson the right to promote the scholarship donation, along with award recipient and institutional information.

**Although these are the primary criteria, other factors may also be considered.
